Motors projectMotors for every size of door
Residential and light commercial doors use compact tubular or centre-mount motors. Large commercial and industrial doors use heavy-duty side-mount motors with control boxes. We size the motor to the weight and size of the curtain so it isn't overloaded.
What we supply and fit
- Retro-fitting motors to existing manual roller doors
- Motorised doors on new installations
- Remotes, wall buttons and key switches
- Battery backup systems
- Safety and anti-lift features
- Motor repairs and replacements
Power failures
Every motor we fit has a manual override so you can still open the door during an outage. For homes and shops that need it, we can add battery backup so the door keeps working on remote when the power goes off.
Door types available
galvanised steel roller shutters, colour-coated roller doors, aluminium roller shutters, perforated & vision roller shutters, roller security grilles, serving hatch & counter shutters, roller doors with wicket (pedestrian) door, manual & chain-operated roller doors, motorised roller shutter doors.

Frequently asked
Can any roller door be motorised?
Most can, provided the curtain, barrel and guides are in good condition. We check the door first and tell you if anything needs fixing before the motor goes on.
What happens when the power goes off?
Every motor has a manual override, and we can add battery backup so the door keeps running on the remote during outages.
Can you add more remotes?
Yes. We supply and code extra remotes for compatible motors.
